Photographs can capture a specific time and place, while revealing the underlying precariousness of existence.
This Disappearing World provides visual commentary on the beauty and tragedy found in the world today from the magnificence of Iceland’s imposing glaciers to the emptiness of abandoned homes in Iran.
With this group of photographs we witness the earth and its inhabitants in a state of continual change.
The screening of This Disappearing World is made possible because today’s technology permits the easy sharingof digital files by the Internet. As such, the artists are able to share a global vision unique to our times.

In addition to the State of the Art Gallery screening, This Disappearing World will be shown in Scandinavia
and the Middle East in the next few months. Further information about the project and artists can be found at ;
